Threat of Severe Weather in Chicago

Meterologist Tracy Butler at ABC 7 is forecasting a line of thunderstorms will hit the Chicago and outlying suburban areas by around 3PM today. Tracy said she will be surprised if these storms don't generate severe storm watches and warnings across the area.

According to the report by Tracy Butler, temps will reach anywhere between 85 to 88 degrees farenheit before things cool down due to a cold front in the back of this storm system.

Between 1PM and 7PM, storms will arrive and Tracy says they'll be gone after that, with temps falling to 65 degrees as the cold front sweeps through. The temp is currently 82 and O'Hare and 85 at Midway.
